Meditation is a centuries-old tradition that allows us to
expand our personal power, explore our inner selves, overcome
stress, fear, anger and enables us to see ourselves with
love and compassion. Meditation training manifests itself
as better interpersonal relationships, greater physical
and mental well-being, increased energy, reliable, creativity,
heightened self-esteem and much, much, more.
When
I think of meditation, I think of words like relaxation,
lightness, clarity, acceptance, protection, and loving yourself.
Do you need them? I also think of beauty, creativity, focus,
high self-esteem, and unlimited potential. Sound good? Have
I struck a need yet? People who meditate regularly are adept
at balancing harmony and order in their lives. They can
successfully blend two worldsthe inner and the outer.
Of course, your needs may be different. Maybe you dont
want security, health, happiness, love, or courage. My clients
report an increase in these. They also speak of experiencing
more when there is less. They tell me they know without
knowing how they know. Finally, they say they enjoy a sense
of purpose, of living more deeply with trust, faith, and
a euphoric sense of soaring. Meditation is home. Practicing
meditation is saying "yes" to that home.
